My first step in a long while.?
I haven't been to a martial arts class in about 2 years, and even then I was with my friends at a TKD class.
Now soon, I'm gonna be going to a 5 Animal Style Kung Fu class

I'm gonna be going more or less on my own. One thing though, Is taking that first step inside the Kung Fu school. Now THAT is what I am shy about!!

I think the humble attitude that you are showing with this question is perfect. I agree that you should try to control the natural urge to compare Kung Fu to your TKD experience in the past. Focus on what you are learning at the present. I also agree with the other answers thus far.
