polyster comforter or cotton comforter?
Hello! I am very confused about what kind of comforter set to purchase. It is for a college student. She's not messy and keeps things clean, but I want to get something that will be comfortable to sleep under and is for everyday use. We have purchased to two sets, one of them polyester and the other is cotton. Which do you think is more ideal for her? what is the difference between these two matierals for comforters??
Cotton breathes, polyester doesn't. That means that if the room is warm....she'll be hot and sweaty. Cotton can also be washed in very hot water to get out stains and grime. If polyester stains, it can set forever. The only downside of cotton is that it wrinkles easily...so pull it out of the dryer quickly.
