The darker side of justice on The Shield episodes

The show managed to gain immense popularity from its controversial depiction of the corruption that runs in the veins of the police department. The Shield episodes are set in the illusory Farmington district of Los Angeles, referred to as "the farm". The show centers on a group of detectives, known as "the Strike Team". The main character of the show is Vic Mackey, who is the leader of the Strike team. The Strike Team is a four-membered gang that goes to extremes to bring their idea of justice on the streets. The show features them using a wide variety of illegal and unethical methods to solve crimes that are assigned to them.
