I placed a plant pot on my wooden table?
I had a ceramic plant pot on my wooden table and when I moved it my wood had turned white because it got damp under there for some reason. Does anyone know how to get wood to turn back to it's natural color?
Take an old pillow case and place over the water stain mark on the table. Set your clothes iron to high steam. Iron the pillow case over the stain giving the area repeated extra bursts of steam. Monitor often so as not to overdo it. Should come up. Let dry and reoil using furniture oil not the spray wax kind. Repeat if necessary. Over time the stain fades more as the patina darkens the wood.
