Baby ball python Question?
I have a 9 month old bbp nad was wondering what size is next after a Large hopper? The place where i get the mice at really doesn't sell rats, so i was all so wondering if there is a mouse that can match the size of a rat? Thanks in Advance:)
Adult mice are the next size up. Large adult ball pythons can take half grown rats, they cannot take full grown ones. When your snake becomes large enough, you can offer it 2-3 adult mice in the place of an appropriate sized rat if rats are hard to find. My 5.5ft female has imprinted only on mice to feed on. She refuses rats so, she gets 2-3 adult mice every feed and she is perfectly fine at 11 yrs.old. Feeding a ball python hamsters or gerbils can be expensive.
