What is the best spyder series paintball gun?
I have tippmann 98 c with tippman and car stock but was looking at something that i could use as a cheaper faster shooting lighter gun. Looking at something electric and something that i could put a teardrop barrel on.
i really dont know how to give the best answers to so im going to let the communitie pick. I will probably go ahead and get an ion but thanks you so much for both answers guys. really helped me out
none really spyders are very problematic. i work at a paintball field and 9/10 a new player with a spyder comes in will have to get their spring cut to meet the chrono speed of 300 fps or less. they also seem to have problems with uncocking when you try to shoot quickly. remember back when i first started and didnt know any better i bought an mr2 and that thing kept uncocking on me with HPI . i say if you want an electro go with an ION people always dog on them cuz they are so common but they are reliable starter electro fairly easy to take apart not many screws or mechanical parts like a spyder. only get a spyder if you want a gun to drive you crazy with. get an ION which you can find for as much or cheaper than "high end spyders" (lol) and if you live in a major city or near one check on craigslist usually you can find someone selling their ion for around 120-160 and sometimes they will toss in a hopper or a tank.
