Can someone help me identify this sword? Looking for someone who is familiar with swords.?

I used to collect swords. This is a Japanese katana, but the specific name for this type would be a Shirasaya. Or that's what it is supposed to look like. The photos show that this is a made in china, stainless steel sword, most likely a 440 note. Poor edge retention in this case. It was probably a false Hamon crushed or made with chemicals.
