You compare with the value 5.67 t-critical (T-Table), with 23 degrees of freedom. The critical value with alpha = 0.05 for a two-tailed test is 2.069. Since the calculated t exceeds the critical t, you reject the null hypothesis and conclude H1: 5.21 mu does not equal. It is not possible to accurately assess P (t> 5.67). You need a computer program. But you could tell by looking at the table if it does less than 0.05 (the significance level given). Scroll 23 and see where the importance lies. Note: P (z> 5.67) is too large for a z-table. Yes that's right. This means that the probability is close to 0. You did nothing wrong. But z is not the appropriate test in this case. You would obtained the same if you used t instead of z.
