Need help building first PC gaming budget, please.?
These are the specifications so far: ASUS M2N-E AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 Ultra MCP ATX AMD Motherboard XFX GeForce 8600GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI support HDCP Video Card COOLER MASTER eXtreme RP-500-PCAR ATX 12V V2.01 500W Power Factor Supply G. SKILL 2 GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000 + Windsor 3.0GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM2 125W Dual-Core Processor I will use this PC mainly to play some games and make recordings at home for an entire group (I heard the sound-board ADI was good.) I like to run games on high settings, but I'm not interested in running in Crysis above, or any for that matter. I have a hard drive and case, already, but there is another question. This way you can always get by with a small power supply and save money on it and the processor ... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128052 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820161229 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ Product.aspx?
